Am 08. bzw. 11.12.2004 nahm Thomas am 3. internationalen Festival Disco-80 in Russland teil. Das Festival, vom Radiosender Autoradio organisiert, fand zum einen im Moskauer Olympiastation statt und zum anderen im Eisstadion von St. Petersburg. On December 8th and 11th, 2004 Thomas Anders participated in the 3-rd International Festival “Disco - 80” in Moscow and St. Petersburg consequently. The festival was organized by the radio-station Autoradio and took place in the olympic and the ice stadion, respectively.
Die Pressekonferenz
	Im Vorfeld des Moskauer Konzertes gab es zunächst einmal eine kurze Pressekonferenz. Zu guter Letzt kam Thomas in einem dichten Ring von Bodyguards auf die Bühne. Während der Fotosession lächelte er nur einmal zu den Journalisten und blieb sonst wie gewohnt ernst. Nach ca. 2 Minuten verschwand er auch schon wieder.
Before the concert Thomas Anders gave a short press conference. Bad Boys Blue, Lian Ross, Kaoma, Pupo... and at last - Thomas Anders... In a dense ring of guards, Thomas came up to a stage. As always serious, he smiled only once to journalists during photosession. Two minutes and he disappeared.

?:	Wir haben gehört, dass Du im Guinness Buch der Rekorde stehst und zwar mit Eierschaumschlagen. Kannst Du uns die Geschichte erzählen?
!:	Ja. Dieter und ich waren in die Deutsche TV-Show Die Guinness-Show eingeladen worden und sollten dort Eiweiß steif schlagen. Ich hatte diese Schüssel in der Hand und der Moderator sagte, "Nehmt es und versucht es." Ich sagte, "Oh, mein Gott", da ich zu Hause einen Mixer habe und ich es noch nie mit der Hand gemacht hatte. Nach ungefähr 45 Sekunden hatte ich es wirklich geschafft und seitdem stehe ich im Guinness Buch der Rekorde. Zu Hause habe ich den Award, den Guinness Award und die Leute lieben es mich danach zu fragen. - Wie auch immer, zu Hause nehme ich aber immer den Mixer!
?:	Wir wissen, dass Du gerne kochst. Was ist Dein Lieblingsgericht und wie lautet das Rezept dazu?
!:	Weißt Du, ich liebe es Mediterranes, Asiatisches und Thailändisches Essen zu kochen. Und alle meine Freunde lieben mein phantastisches Lamm mit Rosmarin und Rotweinsauce. So nebenbei, es ist wirklich köstlich! Ich habe es übrigens gerade erst vor 2 Tagen gemacht.
?:	Du hast so viele Fans in Russland, evtl. sogar mehr als wie in Deutschland. Warum nimmst Du nicht mal ein Album oder vielleicht auch nur einen Song in Russisch auf? Du hast es, zum Beispiel, für Deine Spanischen Fans und Deine Fans in Südamerika getan. Was ist mit Russland?
!:	Ich denke, dass ich dafür einen Russischen Produzenten bräuchte. Ich kann kein Russisch und ich schreibe nicht die Texte. Somit müssten wir mit jemanden aus Russland zusammenarbeiten. Er könnte die Texte schreiben und dann das Ganze produzieren. Wir haben oft Kontakt zu anderen Produzenten, daher wissen wir, dass es einfacher ist darüber nachzudenken, als es zu tun. Es ist nicht so einfach, es müsste jemanden von Russland nach Deutschland kommen und es hier dann aufnehmen.
?:	Wurden von Barcos de Cristal Singles ausgekoppelt?
!:	Der Song Barcos de Cristal war der Titelsong einer Seifenoper in Argentinien und wurde Nummer 1 in Argentinien. Danach haben wir erst darüber nachgedacht, ein Spanisches Album zu machen.
?:	Kannst Du uns etwas über Deine Erfahrungen als Schauspieler erzählen? Würdest Du gerne mal in einem Musikfilm mitspielen?
!:	Es ist sehr hart Schauspieler zu sein und immer gegen Deinen Charakter anzuspielen. Es ist hart, als dieser Charakter schlafen zu gehen.
?:	Du magst es also nicht?
!:	Das würde ich nicht so sagen, aber es ist hart. Wenn ich es noch einmal tun würde, dann nur, wenn ich genug Zeit dafür habe. Du kannst nicht sagen, "Ich habe meinen Text, die Geschichte, mein Buch und morgen spiele ich die Rolle." Ich denke, man braucht mehr Zeit, um in die Rolle zu finden und diese spielen zu können. Vielleicht werde ich es noch mal tun, wir werden sehen. Verrückt genug wäre ich!

?:	We’ve heard that you in a Guinness Book for a making a foam from the eggs. Can you tell this story please?
!:	Yes, it was at the TV-Show in Germany. The TV-Show was called “The Guinness Show” and we were invited, it was Dieter and me, we were invited and so we should with a white-egg to make a foam, however you call it you know what I mean. And so I had this bowl in my hand and he said: “Keep it and try” And I said: “Oh my God!” because at home I have a mixer and I don’t do it by my hand. So I just did it and it was 45 seconds, I think, and from that day at the Guinness Show I’m in the Guinness Book. And you know it’s very funny to have this award at home. I have a special award, a Guinness award. And it’s really funny and love people ask me about that because anyway when I’m at home I take the mixer.
?:	We know that you like to cook. What is you favorite dish, recipe of your favorite dish?
!:	You know I love to cook Mediterranean, Asian, Thai food. And you know I’m very-very love, all of my friends love a fantastic lamb with rosemary and red wine sauce. There’s delicious by the way. I did it two days ago.
?:	You have so many fans in Russia probably more fans then in Germany. Why don’t you record an album or just one song in Russian? For example, you did it for your Spanish fans and your fans in Latin America, you’ve recorded an album in Spanish. What about Russia?
!:	I think that to do that I need a Russian producer. I can’t write in Russian because I do not do lyrics. So we have to work with somebody who is from Russia and he can write the lyrics and he can produce this. And you know very often we have contracts with different producers so this is easier to think then to make. You know what I want to say. It’s not that easy so I need somebody from Russia come to Germany and record this.
?:	Were there some singles released from this album “Barcos de Cristal”?
!:	Yes, the song “Barcos de Cristal” was the first and this was a song from the soap opera in Argentina, there was number 1 in Argentina. And then we just thought about making a Spanish album. This was the step you know.
?:	Can you tell something about your experience as an actor who’s playing in films and would you like to play in some music film?
!:	I know that to be an actor is very hard because you all the time have to work against your character you know what I want to say. And you know that is really hard to just sleep in another character.
?:	You don’t like it?
!:	I won’t say that I don’t like it but I say it’s hard. And I think if I would do this again than I need more time. Just you can’t go to a production from a film and you say: “OK! I have my words and everything, my story and my book and a next day I do this”. I think it needs much more time to get into the role and to play this part of the film. Maybe I will do it, but we will see. You know I’m crazy enough to do everything.

08.12.2004 - Moskau
With his performance Thomas Anders was closing up the concert program of this evening. The announcers of the show could not even finish presentation of the artist as audience simply roared expecting appearance of the singer. Golden rain and plenty of special effects only warmed up the spectators... Although the first composition Independent Girl in any way cannot be called a hit of 80-s, but nevertheless it was met with delight. The other two songs there were traditional hits Brother Louie and You're My Heart You're My Soul... During the performance on the screen behind the scene there was a Modern Talking logo and glass spheres on a chess field (a la “Let's Talk About Love” cover). Obviously tired from endless performing of “You're My Heart, You're My Soul " Thomas offered to spectators sing it together. Audience with enthusiasm supported this idea!	Mit seinem kurzem Programm war Thomas der Schluss-Act beim Konzert in Moskau. Das Publikum erwartete schreiend seinen Auftritt, so dass die Moderatoren ihre Ankündigungen gar nicht zu ende bringen konnten. Goldener Regen und eine Hülle von Special Effects wärmten die Zuschauer auf.... Dann ging es mit Independent Girl los. Auch wenn das Lied nun wahrlich kein Hit der 80er Jahre ist, wurde er mit Freude aufgenommen. Die nächsten Lieder waren dann mit Brother Louie und You're My Heart, You're My Soul echte 80er Jahre Hits. - Wohl ein wenig müde vom endlosen Performen von You're My Heart, You're My Soul, animierte Thomas das Publikum zum Mitsingen. - Und die Zuhörer taten es mit Enthusiasmus! Während seines Auftrittes zeigte die große Videoleinwand im Hintergrund übrigens das Modern Talking-Logo sowie Glaskugeln auf einem Schachbrett wie beim Let's Talk About Love-Cover.
11.12.2004 - St. Petersburg
Nach einer kurzen Rückkehr nach Deutschland - Thomas war von der Zeitschrift Maxim als Laudator für die Verleihung Women of the Year auserkoren worden - ging es am 11.12. in St. Petersburg mit dem Festival weiter. Als die Moderatoren Thomas ankündigten, flippte auch hier die Halle aus! Zunächst kamen die Musiker in schwarzen Anzügen und weißen Stiefeln (Rob) auf die Bühne, dann erschien Thomas - und es war SUPER!!! Nach Independent Girl performte er Brother Louie und die Maxi-Version von Cheri Cheri Lady. Als Zugabe sang er You're My Heart, You're My Soul mit einer extra langen Einleitung. On December 11, "Disco - 80" moved to Saint Petersburg. When announcers declared Thomas' appearance the hall was blown up! First musicians in black suits and white boots (Rob) came out, and then Thomas appeared in dark glasses – and it was SUPER!!! After Independent Girl he performed “Brother Louie” and the maxi-version of “Cheri Cheri Lady”. As an encore he sang “You're My Heart, You're My Soul” with long-long introduction.
